Our services

Safe accommodation. Support to recover. A pathway towards independence.

The Redeemed Life Initiative CIC supports women and families affected by domestic abuse and circumstances that impact their safety, wellbeing and independence.

At the heart of our developing service is our vision to provide safe, supportive refuge accommodation where women and families can find safety, begin to recover and receive the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Our wider services focus on domestic abuse support and awareness, mental and emotional wellbeing, recovery, independence and creating opportunities for you to move forward.

Service in development

Our priority service

Safe Accommodation & Women’s Refuge

A safe place to stay. Support to rebuild. A future beyond abuse.

Our priority is the development of safe, supportive refuge accommodation for women and families affected by domestic abuse who are unable to safely remain in their current home.

Our vision goes beyond providing somewhere to stay. We are working towards creating warm, secure and welcoming homes where women and families can begin to recover, rebuild confidence and work towards greater independence.

Every woman and family’s circumstances are different. Our approach will therefore be person-centred, recognising individual needs, strengths, choices and aspirations.

Supporting Women & Families

Domestic abuse does not affect one person in isolation.

We recognise the impact abuse, displacement and instability can have on children and wider family life. Our approach considers the wider needs of you and your children while keeping safety, wellbeing and your individual circumstances at the centre of support.

Creative Workshops & Community Connection

Our creative workshops provide welcoming spaces where women can connect with others, express themselves, build confidence and take time to focus positively on their wellbeing. Through creativity, conversation and shared experiences, our workshops aim to reduce isolation, encourage positive relationships and create opportunities to rediscover your strengths, interests and confidence.

Our approach

How we work with women and families

  • Person-Centred

Every woman's circumstances, needs, choices and goals are different.

  • Trauma-Informed

We recognise the impact trauma can have on wellbeing, relationships, confidence and decision-making.

  • Non-Judgemental

You should feel able to speak openly and be treated with dignity and respect.

  • Empowering

We support you to understand your options and make informed choices, rather than making decisions for you.

  • Strengths-Based

We recognise your strengths, abilities and potential rather than defining you by what you have experienced.

  • Team-Led

Our services are supported by the collective lived experience and professional knowledge of the Redeemed Life team.
