Who we are
Support that looks beyond the immediate situation
The Redeemed Life Initiative CIC supports women and families who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.
We understand that abuse can affect much more than someone’s immediate safety. It can impact mental and emotional wellbeing, physical health, confidence, relationships, finances, family life, independence, employment and hopes for the future.
That is why our approach looks at the whole person and the wider circumstances affecting their life.
Whether someone is experiencing abuse now, considering their options, seeking support, recovering from previous experiences or beginning to rebuild their independence, our aim is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space where they can understand their choices and take positive steps forward.

Our purpose is to support women and families to move from unsafe or difficult circumstances towards greater safety, stability, wellbeing and independence.
Domestic Abuse Support & Awareness
Helping women recognise domestic abuse, understand their options and access appropriate services, information and support.
Mental & Emotional Wellbeing
Supporting women to understand and recover from the emotional and psychological impact that domestic abuse and difficult experiences can have on confidence, identity, mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Safe Accommodation
Working towards providing safe, supportive accommodation for women and families who are unable to safely remain in their current home.
Independence & Recovery
Supporting women to rebuild confidence, regain control, develop greater independence and work towards their personal goals, aspirations and future.
Our safe accommodation provision is currently in development and we are not yet accepting placements.

Our Team: Lived Experience & Professional Expertise
The Redeemed Life Initiative is supported by a team who bring together lived experience, professional expertise and a shared commitment to supporting women and families with dignity, compassion and respect.
Across our team, we bring experience in supporting women and families affected by domestic abuse, mental and emotional wellbeing, children and families, safeguarding, community support and helping people work towards greater independence.
Our lived experience also brings an important depth of understanding to our work. It helps us recognise that every woman’s circumstances are different and that meaningful support begins with listening, understanding and treating each person as an individual.
By combining lived experience with professional knowledge and safe, person-centred practice, our team provides support that is compassionate, informed and focused on helping women and families move towards safety, recovery and greater independence.
Community
Creative Workshops & Community Connection
Our creative workshops provide welcoming spaces where women can connect with others, express themselves, build confidence and take time to focus on their wellbeing.
Through creative activities, conversation and shared experiences, our workshops aim to reduce isolation, encourage positive connections and create opportunities for women to rediscover their strengths and confidence.

Our goal is not simply to help women survive domestic abuse. We want women and families to have the safety, support and opportunities they need to recover, rebuild their independence and create a future beyond abuse.
